I went to Pearl Paint with my mom last Friday (Dec 30, 2011) and I bought this Winsor and Newton Watercolor Cakes, as recommended by the guy from Pearl Paint. I think the quality is good - since it's Winsor and Newton - but I prefer the watercolor in tubes. Though it's easier for me to see the colors in these cakes, the watercolor tubes are a lot easier to mix. I'm more used to its shades as well.

However, I still tried to paint using these cakes in my tiny visual journal. I wanted to try painting a landscape but, I failed. LOL. I think I'm not really good in landscapes. XD
I also painted this flower just for FUN! :)
